Hajj travelogue
The author's name is not known. The pilgrimage is in Muhammad Shah period. The travelogue includes information about women pilgrims, including Ziyaʼ al-Saltanah, daughter of Fath ‘Ali Shah. More information about this item could be found on page 465 of the third volume (first part) of Malik Library's catalog of manuscripts. Page 17 bears the seal of Muhammad Husayn.

Hajj travelogue, February or March 1882
According to Dr. Rasul Ja‘farian, publisher of the travelogue, the author is Hajiyah Mihr Mah Khanum ‘Ismat al-Saltanah (d. 3 August 1888), daughter of Farhad Mirza Mu‘tamid al-Dawlah and Jahan Ara Khanum. Jahan Ara is the daughter of Muhammad ‘Ali Mirza Dawlatshahi, son of Fath ‘Ali Shah. Hajiyah Mihr Mah Khanum ‘Ismat al-Saltanah married three times: first to Mirza Muhammad Qavam al-Dawlah Ashtiyani (d. 1873); then to Mirza Musa (d. 1881), son of Mirza Hadi Ashtiyani Vazir Lashgar; then to Mirza ʻAbd Allah Vahab Khan Asif al-Dawlah (d. 1887). Letter probably from ‘Ayn al-Saltanah
Letter probably from Qahraman Mirza Salur (‘Ayn al-Saltanah) with a list of daily expenses; writing from Alamut, Qazvin, he talks about his bad health and expresses his disappointment that the recipient had not told him about her/his journey to Mecca, while also asking her/him to sacrifice a sheep on his behalf. ‘Ayn al-Saltanah also talks about his intention to travel to Beirut to visit Hurmuz Mirza [his nephew]. He asks about the well-being of Fakhr al-Mulk [probably his brother-in-law, Fakhr al-Mulk Ardalan] and his wife and expresses his satisfaction that Zari is accompanying the letter...

Letters about property management in Karbala’
Two letters to Haji ‘Abd Allah, the merchant from Yazd: in the first letter (1905), Karbalayi writes about the destruction of the religious tombs in Karbala’ and notes that because of the current situation, there are less pilgrims and no demand for Haji ‘Abd Allah's houses except by the widows. He is asking for permission to rent the houses to these wealthy women for three lira per year; in the second letter (1919) from Najaf, the writer complains about the difficulties in managing the properties of Haji ‘Abd Allah in Karbala’.

Marriage contract of Sughra Khanum with Aqa Fazl Allah, 1887
The marriage contract of Sughra Khanum, the daughter of Suhrab Khan, and Aqa Fazl Allah, the son of Aqa Mirza Habib Allah Shams al-Shariʻah on 21 May 1887. The mahr includes a Qurʼan, 25 tumans, 10 acres of a river, 5 acres of a land in Gulpaygan, 4 acres in a sahara, 2 acres of a garden, and one sixth of a house. In 1921, Fazl Allah settled all of his properties with Hajiyah Bibi Khanum. When Bibi Khanum abrogated this transaction due to her Hajj pilgrimage, Fazl Allah settles for four and a half-sixth of his building with Bibi Hajiyah.

Part of a letter
The writer shares some news about the purchase of a slave (Khvajah) for the crown prince from Somalia for two thousand tumans and mentions that Aqa brought four Kaniz (female slaves) for Khalah Jan, Mahmud Khan, Mademoiselle, and the writer. Three of them are Baluchis and one is Bambasi. Aqa also brought a male slave as a souvenir for the writer; his name is Qanbar. S/he then describes three things that s/he wanted during the three years that Aqa was governing the ports and has them all now: a good gun, a mare called ‘Abid, and now Qanbar.
